From November 8 to 15, this team of men experienced Arviat, Nunavut to participate in a life-changing, short-term missions project. They assisted Pastor Brad & Jackie Williams with the Arviat Alliance Church and took care of several renovation projects within the church building throughout week.

This project is an initiative of our Saskatoon Alliance Churches & Canadian Midwest District and is under the leadership of Pastor Frank Jeske, Pastor Arnie Schmeichel & Cory Shrigley.

* Pray for the ongoing work in Arviat and nearby communities.

* Pray that this project will be just one of many more initiatives in our District to see men and women serve in short-term projects.

* Pray for new missions teams who are making plans to visit Arviat throughout the summer of 2009.

A very special thanks to our district Alliance Women for the fundraising project designating funds for Arviat so that the necessary renovation supplies could be purchased and transported to Arviat this October.
